Our Quality Team
CareNorth
has an extensive Quality Improvement Program which
researches the best, most current treatments and
preventive care for patients. The program monitors
providers to ensure this top level of care is
given. Current studies include patient comments
and concerns, diabetes mellitus care management
and study, tobacco cessation, otitis media in
children, and working to improve mammogram rates
in women, particularly in the 52-74 age. CareNorth
also surveys patients and helps our clinics find
ways to serve our patients better.
Each CareNorth
clinic has a Quality Improvement Medical Director
as well as a Quality Improvement Coordinator.
Clinics meet at their sites monthly to discuss QI
issues. In addition, all QI medical directors meet
as a group, as do the QI coordinators for ongoing
training, networking and for questions and
discussion.
