Our Quality Team

CareNorth has an extensive Quality Improvement Program which researches the best, most current treatments and preventive care for patients. The program monitors providers to ensure this top level of care is given.  Current studies include patient comments and concerns, diabetes mellitus care management and study, tobacco cessation, otitis media in children, and working to improve mammogram rates in women, particularly in the 52-74 age. CareNorth also surveys patients and helps our clinics find ways to serve our patients better.

Each CareNorth clinic has a Quality Improvement Medical Director as well as a Quality Improvement Coordinator. Clinics meet at their sites monthly to discuss QI issues. In addition, all QI medical directors meet as a group, as do the QI coordinators for ongoing training, networking and for questions and discussion.

The CareNorth Quality Programs are under the direction of Glenn H. Nordehn, D.O., Medical Director,  and are administered by Northstar Physicians Quality Improvement Operations. To contact us:
